Your English speaking, friendly driver will meet you at your hotel lobby (or at the ferry pier if you are crossing from Cozumel Island).
Enjoy a 2 hour drive on comfortable toll roads through Mayan villages and beautiful jungle scenery.
Upon arrival to Chichen Itza, your driver will personally hand you over to your private, English speaking guide*. We only use the best guides of Chichen Itza, with many years of experience and extended knowledge of Mayan history and architecture.
Enjoy the 1 hour guided tour of the ruins, during which you will learn about the ancient Maya and their incredible culture, art and architecture. Your guide will adjust the tour to your interests and show you the best picture opportunities! After the tour, you are free to explore the ruins some more on your own.
When you are done at the ruins, your driver is ready to take you to the next stop on this excursion: Lunch. This is where you will savour a full Mexican lunch.
Next, we will bring you to a very impressive and exclusive Mayan sinkhole called a cenote. Enjoy the clear, refreshing water and be amazed by rock formations both in and outside the water.
From the cenote, we will take you back to your hotel.
